I had a contract with a company to manage the company's production and finance.I hadto pay the 2 owners a certain amount every month plus rental on the building, in the contract it states that the money generated from the business that we built up were for our account,we had to buy the chemicals tooperate. The business went extremely well. Early december 2009 the owner statedthat he was liguidating the company. Allthe workers were locked out and sent home with no pay. we received email stating that we are still employees but are suspened and cannot make any demands for renumeration until the business is liquidated. we cannot even apply for unemployment until such time. Have been to the ccma but they need a liquidators name. The owner is dragging his feet aboutthe liquidator. BUT in the meantime a friend of his are using all the equipment in the factory and carrying on business under another name. Mustthat equiment not be sold forthe liability that the company wantsto liquidate? Is ther anything we can do do force him to name a liquidator,as this can drag on for months and the whole original workforce has no income
