No it is not legal. Once an employee has worked for three consecutive months for more than 40 hours per month the employee is assument ot be permanent. Also, if a fixed term contract is renewed once an expectattion is created that it will be renewed and if it is not done the non-renewal amounts to dismissal. This means that the employee with a renewed fixed term is a permanent employee and can only be dismissed in the same manner as a full time employee. A so called fixed term employee who has worked for more than four months is entitled to ordinary leave and for more than 26 days to 1 day sick leave.
